9 pin (J1939) cables (for Freightliner or Peterbilt) or Heavy Duty OBD-II cables (for pre-2025 Volvo, or Mack trucks) or Light Duty OBD-II cables (for light and med. duty trucks) are $20 each when purchased with PT30. Additional cables are $25 each.

Note on 2025 Volvos - There are fundamental changes in 2025 Volvos that significantly impact the use of PT30 devices and cables.
1. Heavy Duty OBD-II cable cannot be used on the 2025 Volvo. You must use a RP1226 cable.
2. Due to a 2025 Volvo odometer reporting error, you must use a PT30 with specially modified firmware.
